The Federal Income Tax Deadline Has Been Extended
The Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service have announced that the federal income tax filing due date for individuals for the 2020 tax year has been extended from April 15, 2021 to May 17, 2021.
There are exceptions to this deadline to be aware of.
