Sick Time, It’s the Law – MA Becomes Third State to Require Paid Sick Leave
Paid Sick Leave – Requiring employers to offer either paid or unpaid sick leave is an emerging trend in employment law. In the recent midterm elections, four ballot measures passed requiring employers to offer either paid or unpaid sick leave in Massachusetts & California (statewide), Trenton NJ, Montclair NJ, and Oakland CA the laws that will be effective July 1, 2015.
