President Biden Announces Small Business Priority in Latest PPP Funding

President Biden announced on Monday, 2/22/2021 a two week policy and priority change for the latest round of PPP funding.

Starting Wednesday, 2/24/2021 and for the next two weeks, only firms with 20 or fewer employees will be considered for PPP loan applications. The actions are also aimed at women and minority owned businesses – primarily because there will be a focus on sole-proprietors, pass throughs and independent contractors.
